Waqas Tahir is a transformation-focused supply chain and operations leader with over 17 years of experience advising and leading complex operational, logistics, procurement, and supply chain transformation initiatives across construction, energy, logistics, and consumer sectors.
At Riseon Advisory, he works with leadership teams to strengthen operational governance, optimize supply chain performance, improve execution discipline, and build scalable operating models aligned with strategic business objectives.
His expertise spans supply chain transformation, strategic sourcing, logistics optimization, S&OP, operational governance, ERP-enabled controls, vendor management, network optimization, and enterprise-wide operational performance improvement. He brings a strong combination of strategic thinking, operational execution capability, and data-driven decision-making across large and complex business environments.
Prior to joining Riseon Advisory, Waqas held senior leadership and transformation roles across leading multinational and regional organizations, including Shell Global, Shell MESAPA, Shell Pakistan, Catalent, and AMA. His experience includes leading regional logistics portfolios, multi-country operational governance programs, network redesign initiatives, ERP-enabled process transformation, and large-scale operational optimization engagements.
Throughout his career, he has led strategic transformation initiatives involving:

He holds an MBA from Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) and a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST). He also holds professional certifications in supply chain and analytics, including APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) and Google Data Analytics Professional Certification.
